Speak out now to protect IUOE apprenticeships!

The Department of Labor is taking comments and concerns regarding IRAPS (Industry Recognized Apprenticeship Programs) these are NOT the same as REGISTERED APPRENTICESHIPS! The unions have registered apprenticeships with strict requirements and training curriculum. These IRAPS can’t compare. The DOL is considering giving IRAPS the same level of respect as registered apprenticeships – when they don’t have near the level of regulation or requirements as a registered apprenticeship.
